Pets are Like Family
I had quite a scare this morning. My father called me and told me my dog wasn't doing so well. He said he was going to take her to the vet as soon as they opened and she might have to be put down. I, of course, was devastated. Mostly because I would not get the chance to say my goodbyes.

Understanding Race
A few nights ago in my Health Science class my professor was talking about how race has absolutely nothing to do with biological factors. A white person may have a closer genetic strain with an African-American than with another white person. The only thing that defines race is the culture and society we are brought up in. Black people are taught to think that they are of a lower class.
