Looking at the Bible Objectively

Tagged:

Growing up I went to mostly Baptist Churches and learned about the Bible from there. I can sum up what I learned:

1. The Bible magically appeared to us from heaven.

2. There are no discrepancies or errors (because it's divinely inspired, duh!)

3. The Bible is the same as it was about two thousand years ago.

Bill O'Reilly is not a Racist!

Tagged:  •    •    •    •

Bill O'Reilly is a really funny guy. Every time he's on the news for something, I crack the hell up. I don't understand why people still get angry at him; I believe he's a vampire that feeds off that--so, disgruntled people only serve to make him stronger! Start spreading the word, and we won't have to hear about his crap anymore.

Cults

I'm not talking about a drink-the-poisoned-koolaid kind of cult, I'm talking about a church I know of that teach a perverted kind of Christianity.

Elitism, not necessarily of race anymore, but of a single church in the midst of thousands of other churchs that believe they are the only ones that speak the truth.

Genital Mutilation is still common in some countries

NO MORE GAY COUPLES!

Tagged:  •    •    •    •

Is anyone else out there as angry as I am? Okay, Okay, I understand that gay people are together, often publicly now. I can't stand it, but I guess I have to live with it. If they can put Will and Grace on TV, anything goes!

Gays are everywhere. What happened to the good old days when everything sexual was swept under the rug? I miss them.

Automakers don't want cars to be more gas efficient

As illustrated by many hybrid cars being put on the market in certain states in America, the people of America have the technology to make cars that put out less toxins from gasoline, require less gasoline for larger mileage, and are overall better for the environment.

Dying in Pain

Here in America we can be generally known as pill-poppers. We have a pill for everything, and I mean everything! From that pesky restless leg syndrome to that disgusting nail fungus, you name it we have an (often obscure) pill for it.

Sorrowful News! the iPhone is now cheaper!

Tagged:  •

When I first heard the price drop of the iPhone, the Apple product that absolutely everyone covets, I was a little bit surprised. Only two months after the release that everyone waited for with bated breath the price was dropped from a whopping six hundred dollars to a whopping four hundred dollars.

Can anyone afford that yet?
