I read something disturbing today. The U.S. senate proposed to split Iraq into territories according to religious and ethnic divisions. The Kurds, who pretty much run a virtually independent government within Iraq anyways, would receive the northern territories that they already govern. I would like to know who's really proud of our country in the state that it's in.  Our economy is failing, which is so much more awful to us because American's idolize money, wealth, and financial status.  We say that we love our freedoms, but these freedoms come at such a cost.  I am proud that everyone is entitled to their opinions and can express them without fear of dying for them...in theory.  Some people are willing to kill and hurt people because of their opinion.  It was the opinion of the the men that killed Mathew Shepard that being gay was a sin and he should die for it.  Fear of the unkown leads to blind hatred.  George Bush proved that when he used America's fear and anger against themselves and they didn't even know it.  He used our fear to laun  Read More »

     I would like to congradulate political activist Michael Moore.  His documentarie's have opened the eyes of so many americans to the corruption that lies in the very hearts of government officials and corporate America.  He first took on General Motors and their massive corporate layoffs in "Roger and Me."  He then won an oscar for confronting America's gun and media culture in "Bowling for Columbine."  My favorite part of that movie was when Mr.  Read More »
