Gernades in your back yard
A woman was raking leaves in her backyard when she picked up a bundle of leaves and found the grenade. The arson bomb squad turned the grenade over to the U.S. Army, but no one has been able to determine whether it was a training grenade or a live grenade
Authorities evacuated several nearby homes and closed nearby roads as a precaution while they searched the area.
"The lady was, of course, upset. She just moved into the house,"Kathy Miller Orlando Fire Department Deputy Chief said. "Arson units checked the backyard to make sure there were no other devices and they didn't find anything." Read More »

Pub Paranormal
Officers arrived at the Low Valley Arms pub near Barnsley in South Yorkshire, 250 miles north of London, after being told the alarm had been set off, but instead of finding any signs of a robbery, they were faced with a shaken landlord convinced he had encountered a ghost with half a face missing in the ladies washroom.
Though they saw no ghoul_ described as a woman in flowing white gown_ officers were shocked to find toilets flushing themselves, said Inspector John Bowler of South Yorkshire Police. Read More »
Duke 4
You may wonder why I write so much about the Duke sex scandel. I am a North Carolina Native and it is thought to be such a privalige and honor to be acccepted to a school like Duke. I don't think that it is being covered fairly though. Everyone is making it look like a white on black crime, no rich white vs. poor black crime. Yes rape is wrong. But there was not any DNA evidence and the victim has been in trouble for wrongly accusing rape before. On the rich white thing though, most people that go to duke get that money from scholarships, not because there parents are doctors and lawyers. Duke is thought of the perfect school to go to because it has such a great image and now this. But when you look at the city of Durham it is the bad apple of the triangle, the cities of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill are known. Raleigh is seen as the clean, if bland, state capital, while Chapel Hill is the bucolic university town. But Durham is viewed as troubled and crime-ridden, a rundown factory and tobacco town that has seen better days _ with the elite Duke in its midst. This is being put in the cases too. I don't think it is fair. Read More »
Duke Scandel Part 2
The DNA results have finally come back. All 46 of the players are clean none of thier DNA was found in the victim. I am glad because alot of people think this whole thing was about race. Here are the statistaics on what people think:
80% of about 250,000 bloggers and chat roomers say the case is about race and many call the alleged assault a hate crime.
• 80% of more than 90,000 female bloggers and chat roomers think some players are guilty, though no charges are filed. Read More »
Rules of Prom
IS this fair?
I was going to take one of my friends to my senior prom. I didn't want to have to go by myself because of it being senior year and all. The only problem with the friend, He has a felonly along with several misdemanors on his record. He has pulled jail time twice. But they decided since he was in rehab and everything, they would let him go.
I soon started dating another guy. He wanted to go to the prom too. I decided to take my boyfriend. He has no record. Has never been in trouble with the law. He is 23. They do not think they are going to let him go because of his age. I find this unfair because i could take someone with a felony, but i can' ttaked someone that is older than i am. Read More »
