Ok this won’t be so bad on the high school but elementary and middle schools are about to face a lot of changes when it comes to vending machines located in their school. Cadbury Schweppes PLC, Coca-Cola Co., PepsiCo Inc. and the American Beverage Association have all signed a deal that states to sell only water, unsweetened juice and low-fat milks to Elementary and middle schools, Under the agreement, high schools will still be able to purchase drinks such as diet and unsweetened teas, diet sodas, sports drinks, flavored water, seltzer and low-calorie sports drinks from distributors.

Have you ever thought about how many people drink underage?  I mean there has to be a lot of people that do it. In fact a lot of teens do choose to drink because underage drinking is about a 23 million dollar industry. Teenage drinking can be an even bigger problem when you take in to account that 1/4th of all teenage drinkers meet criteria for alcohol abuse when only 9.6 do of those older than 21. Another problem teens are facing is most of them who begin drinking before their 15th birthdays are more likely to become alcoholics. Have you ever thought about how many people are risking getting addicted to alcohol here?  I mean I drink socially, but it’s not every weekend. I am usually the designated driver but it’s thinking about all of your friends that drink. And it’s the money that the alcohol industry is getting from teens that worries me. I mean how are people under 21 spending 23 million dollars for alcohol? Its unreal! Anyway I thought it was interesting so here you go.

Alot of people say we shouldn't test products on animals, because it is so cruel. Where are we suposed to test them on humans? Think of the animals used to experiment on:

I know people choose to have abortions, and I know what I say won't change anyone's mind. But today i decided that i was going talk about different arguments agianst abortion that i can think of.

First off The Bible when you think about reading the Bible, can you remember abortion ever being mentioned? I can't either but I think it is because it was so unthinkable that it wouldn't be mentioned as a criminal code. In the Bible children were viewed as a gift from God. Second, the Scriptures state--"and the Jews concurred--that God opens and closes the womb and is sovereign over conception." Third not having children was seen as a curse. When you think of how hard you work at school is it really worth all the effort. I myself happen to enjoy school very much, but what about what really counts. As a senior in high school I know I have 28 more days here. I know i have learned how to read and spell and do math problems, and i feel confident in to going to the real world and college. Best friends always stick together right? Wrong. My 2 best friends in the world have had a rough time lately. One went to jail and the other found out she was pregnant. When my friend who went to jail was getting his name ran down into the ground, I stood up for him. The government is trying to pass laws that state homosexuals can adopt. I don't think they shold be able to. I mean what if two women get a boy. Who is he going to play ball with, and who will take him fishing? What if 2 men get a little girl, hello female problems and total emotions little girls need thier mommy!

Then what if two men get a boy? Who is going to help take care of him. A parental unit should have a mother and father figure. I mean you need both of your parents to understand things. You just can't have 2 of the same thing.

Racism affects everyone. I myself i am sick of getting called a racist. Its like this a (black) guy asked me to go to the Pickle festival with him. I am sorry but i don't want to go to a pickle festival! I mean what is a pickel festival I don't get the point with a Pickle festival. I turned him down.
