Grammar Ignorance

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •    •    •    •    •    •    •

I understand we are all sloths from time to time but there should be no excuse for ignorance of basic grammar. The grammar rules that I speak of are the most obvious and of first grade level.

Lack of capitalization of the first letter at the beginning of sentences; lack of periods to end sentences, in other words, run-on sentences; shortcut words, e.g. “u” instead of “you.”

During pregnancy the baby that is being harbored is a very vulnerable being. What the mother eats, the baby eats; what the mother breathes, the baby breathes.

The Art of Writing

People have different drives that impel them to do what they do. It’s like gasoline to a car. More often than not, people prefer to do things that bring gratification to them in some way.

In the midst of the air I always hear two or more people verbally going at each others’ throat. Bitter bickering never ceases, it has plagued us all since the beginning of man. Hardly anyone tries to find middle ground between each other. Once someone disagrees they begin to throw a tantrum.

Within the realm of the earth; there are so many religions out there, one too many to count. A good handful of them branching from Christianity. The one I would like to single out here is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

iPods Paving The Way To An Antisocial Society

If you were to ask a classroom full of students how many of them own iPods more than half of them would raise their hand. iPods are popular amongst the young people. I see a lot of people sporting them around no matter where I am: the store, campus, work. Have you ever seen someone you know around town listening to their iPod?

Ridiculous Ridicule

You don't have to be religious to notice how more blasphemous the world is becoming. No, no, I'm not talking about drinking or smoking. I don't have enough experience in the outside world to rant on about those topics. What I'm talking about are things that are more apparent: sex appeal, language, censorship, etc.
