Abortion=Prostitution?

Tagged:

This is not about abortion being right or wrong, as about something else.

Now people for abortion say that they should be able to do what they want with their bodies. But the question is, would this also make prostitution legal? This defenition is to general. Maybe the pro-abortion people should make it more specific. One could argue that if they can take stuff out of their body, that they should be able to do the reverse.  Read More »

The border, easy access, Gov. should try harder

My Aunt and Uncle went to T.J Mexico today (Since doctors are cheaper there). They got back and they were let in the country. The problem? The man on the station who let them enter the country held their resident papers, but did not open them. He talked with them, and even laughed. He did not check picture I.d's and so forth. I know being friendly is nice, but this guy should be doing his job. I was shocked, maybe it was a one time thing, but what if it happens more often.  Read More »

Seeking new Marriage Def., Hypocrites, or not?

Tagged:

Okay so I had a question. People want to legalize gay marriage saying that if you love someone you should be able to marry them. Now I say fine, but than you have to legalize all of it. How can some people that speak for equal rights be Hypocrites?  An example is marriage between cousins. It's illegal in a lot of states. Should this also be legal? I mean it fits in the definition so why not? I mean moraly I think it's wrong, but legaly, why not? Or other close family couples.  Read More »

DNA taken too Seriously, "Chimeras and you"

Tagged:

Okay so I am NOT talking about evidence that includes people, it's the evidence that excludes people.

Believe it or not the DNA test that can exclude you may be wrong. Recently doctors made a finding were a women who applied for welfare, had to give her kids DNA test. The test said she was NOT the mother. The women was Perplexed, and later gave birth again. Again the baby did not match her DNA. So she looked for doctors and they discovered something. Her Hair and Blood DNA did not match DNA from some of her organs. As crazy as this may sound, there are people with 2 types of DNA walking around.  Read More »

Da Vinci Code, why the big deal?

Tagged:

Okay so I am Catholic, but I do not find the big deal with all the protests. It's a BOOK/MOVIE, it's FAKE (though some say it's true) If some don't like it, than they should not watch it. I know religion is a big thing but than again religion is made fun of all the time, so just don't look. It's like how some find Harry Potter Movies to be "evil".

It's a free country and free speech. If anything the protestors are PROMOTING the movie. Some will watch it just to see what the big deal is about.  Read More »

Man's right to choose?

Tagged:

Now we know that abortion is legal. That a women has the right to kill or keep their baby, but after watching tv, I realized that the men were being overlooked. That men don't have a choice with regarding the baby.

Now I believe that if you sleep with someone, you are responsible, but what about men that are lied to by women who say "I can't have kids' and so forth. Women that desive them. If you sleep and didn't ask at all, than it's your fault, but if you are lied to, than well..Maybe they should have the right to say no (if they were tricked). Now I know it's contreversioal, but what do you think? I'm between both sides, I think that if you lie to someone that you should pay...

May 1, kids stay in school

Tagged:

I think the "Immigrant march is on May 1" And though some may strongly believe in the cause and march, I think students younger than 18 should stay in school. For their own safety as much as our own. I have seen students this young march down across the street before I turn into my street. And saw a few almost get RUNNED over. If the teenagers wish to march, than they should do it with their parents, and not just follow other students. The school is responsible for them, and if one get's killed, than the school may get sued...  Read More »

Bush's can't fix Gas prices

Tagged:

I have seen many people blame Bush for the oil price. And like my teacher told us today, Bush can't fix the gas prices, and can't lower them. He may be president, but doesn't have that much power.

Why blame Bush, when you can blame the gas companies? Sure you can say that he can pass laws and all that, but that will take time, and approval by the branches...
