Every time our country goes through the process of electing a new president we hear the promises of change and the decisions that they few select people running have made to make our country a better place. But is it really up to them to change our country or should we as people of our country try to change it for ourselves?

racism...the real deal in high school hallways!
As a natural observer I tend to hear things, see things, about things im not supposed to here or see. So today as I was siiting in the office, as an office aid, not a trouble maker...i see the kids who come in who really are in trouble and i hear the reasons why.

So being a militray brat the Iraq War really hits home!

to have loved and lost or to never love at all
Hallway conversations in high school are often narrow minded and cut down to the seven minutes of passing time in between classes. With a quick hello and a fast goodbye many conversations never really sufice to anything and are often repeats of something stated before.

Many think that just because someone likes to stand out a little and be a little bit different than the rest of the world that they are automatically going to casue problems and be a distraction to those around them.

When I tell people that I am engaged many just stare in dis-belief or just refuse to accept the decision that i have made in life to be 18 and engaged. My mom and step father are supportive to the extent that they wont stop me from leaving the small town I grew up in to follow my fiance, who is in the air force and at basic training, to wherever he gets stationed.
