A 58-year-old Aurora man fired shots at police officers in a hospital and then hid in a small room.  The police shot back and when they finally entered the room they found the man dead with a gun shot to the head.  This whole confrontation lasted an hour but there were only a couple shots fired.  It is thought that the man took his own life.

3,000 protestors marched on a on a downtown hotel where the Group of 20 meeting of finance ministers and central bankers were meating. Most of the violence came from a group of 200 protestors wearing white coveralls with red bandanas tied around their faces.  The protestors threw rocks and what ever they could get at the police.
