I think it is very dangerous to identify too closley with one party.  Once a person has decided, I am a Republican or I am a Democrat, they feel like they have to agree with what the party does.  They also feel like they have to be against everything the republicans do and everything Bush does.

I think it is important to view things by what you think first not thinking about what your parties political agenda is.  Coming in to every election people should not know who they are going to vote for before they even know who is running.  If it goes that way the elections will always be decided by the few Americans who reserve their judgement until after they hear what the canidates have to say and have done a little research of their own.  Read More »

Today the college admissions scene is so competitive people are hiring professional writers to write their college essays.  It seems like this is an unfair advantage for rich kids to get into college.  Its not like they don't already have a head start on poorer lower class students as it is.  If only there were a way that we could make kids write an essay where they were all under the same circumstances, with the same amount of time, and make sure that they actually wrote it.  Oh wait there is a way.  Read More »

Will the US follow California and the rest of the World?  The world is moving towards cleaner energy sources and moving away from fuels like oil and coal.  In fact California recently put aside 3.2 billion dollars to help fund an increase in instalation of solar panels.  They are shooting to fund instalation of solar panels on 1 million roof tops. 

The US refrused to sign the kyoto protical because they thought it would hurt our economy too much but in the end it will hurt us much more by not going along with the terms in the Kyoto Protical.  What I don't get is why the US is so against becoming Greener.  There is plenty of room for innovation and profit when an entire nation decided to become Green.  And we are already seeing the effects of pollution through Global Warming.  Read More »

We are seeing the effects of an energy crisis that is soon to come if we do not change anything..  The thing is there are so many ways we can change for the better, conservation for example.
