North Carolina just passed a law that says that they will now track sexual predators that have gotten out of gail with GPS devices.  This is taking it too far.  The whole point of going to jail is to pay for what you did but once you are out it is a clean sleet.  Having a GPS device attached to you as you leave prison is an invasion of personal privacy.  I am in no way condning  Read More »

North Carolina just passed a law that makes it illegal for kids under the age of 18 years old to use a cell phone while driving a car.  I do not agree with this law.  I can drive perfectly well while talking on my cell phone and there are a lot of times where I need to call someone while I am driving.  There is no reason to be talking on the phone in the car.  It is no more dan  Read More »

I think it is very interesting to watch satires on religions.  I like to see movies like the Life Of Brian show the obvious flaws of reasoning behind religion.  I think that one of the best ways to get your point across is to show your ideas in effect as many of these movies do.  Such as in the Life Of Brian where they show how a completely normal man becomes the MESSIAH without even trying to.  In fact he did not want to be the MESSIAH.  I always get good laughs for religious satires.  Read More »
