Today I sat in my apartment and listened while my roommates talked about prescription medication and mental disorders. Then one of the girls said, "I don't believe that eatting disorders are anything other than just a crave for attention." My brain almost went crazy. I internalized all my emotions, opinions, and anger as I heard the statement. I was not craving attention.

Clerks 2 is the most in appropriately funny movie ever and I loved it.  But, I think the more stupid and pointless a comedy the better.  There is this scene in the movie that I think is soooo funny.  It is a little vulger with the langauge, if you are offended by that sort of stuff, but other than that it makes my tummy laugh its so funy.

         What is scary about the RU-486 is how un-researched it is.  The Washington Post claims that since March 31, 2006, there has been 950 adverse event reportings.  This reportings include 8 deaths, 9 life-threatening incidences, 232 hospitalizations, 116 blood transfusions, and 88 cases of infections.  For a drug that has only been on the market for a short time it seems like this is a widespread amount of side effects.  Infections caused by the fetus not deteriorating and causing a bacterial build up of clostridium in the womb was the reason of death of a 18-year old California girl. 

Why is it I can be so fiaxted on a person like Marilyn Monroe and yet be against the actions she did.  I know she had a hard life full of struggles being a foster child and raised hard.  She matured into this sex symbol that guys still fantisize of.  She was a woman of media perceived confidence.  But, in her personal life it tells a different story.  She was addicted to perscription medication among many other substances.  She had failed marriages.  She said one day she wanted to be married to a Kennedy ino rder to be American royalty.  The woman even said she had 14 abortions. How did Marilyn become so iconic?  What makes her different from anyother beautiful actress from a harsh background?  Was it her death?  I think so.  Whether suicide or murder it was misfortunate.  But, even with all these setbacks I still believe Elton John when he sings,
