Today, my little brother graduated from high school.
Normally, high school graduation means nothing to me. I downplayed my own graduation and I usually just can't see what all the excitement is about.
But this graduation was different. This was my baby brother's graduation!
As most of you now know, I work in retail. A few of you may know that I've switched stores recently, from a shiny new store in the "good" part of town back to my old thief-infested hell hole of a store.

I have returned after a long stint of working invisibly, reading blogs secretly and randomly, missing the constant activity I'm used to performing on the site. And oh, ProgressiveU, I have missed you.

I must admit that I am often annoyed by the fact that racism is still an issue in our society. I am a firm believer, even after what I am about to tell you, that racism only exists because we allow it to.
"Kids Are Our Future..."
Yeah, of course they are. So our future is a bunch of screaming, crying, pooping, messy, misbehaved brats.
As any of you who know me are aware, I have been sucked back into the hell that is working retail.
To better understand the environment that I call "the workplace," let's do a little math:
I've grown accustomed to the sounds of war in the distance...
Bombs tearing up the land around me, machine guns tat-tat-tatting into the wind...
And it's not because I live anywhere dangerous.
Everyone hates the media.
Isn't that what our generation is about?
We complain that people like Britney Spears and Heath Ledger get so much negative media attention. We hate that news media is so biased. We talk about how bad television and magazines are for our youth. The world is a horrible place because of the media.
But can you imagine where we'd be without it?
