Why is it that, in today’s society, parents think that disciplining a child is wrong? I really do not understand how taking away time outs, spanking or yelling is helping children learn right vs. wrong. I am in no way supporting abuse – I am in support of appropriate punishment for children who blatantly break rules.
It's no secret in my family ... I am the reason my parents got married. Those close to my parents know that I was a result of their first date & it doesn't take long for others new to our family to figure out that my birthday is just a month after my parent's wedding anniversary. Yes, a month; my parents got married November 10th and I was born December 12th.
Is marriage before college appropriate in society today? Are all of our "perfect couples" and "high school sweethearts" true loves forever or just adding to high divorce rates?
Ok, how many times is Congress going to try to pass this bill while Bush is in office? Bush has taken a stance; he has vetoed this bill in the past & will continue to veto it as long as it raises taxes. With this knowledge, why not spend time on other issues now & wait until the next president in office to try this bill again?

I understand that religion is a big part of people's life but does it really belong in government? In my opinion, No there is no room for religious beliefs in government & the two were never intended to be associated.
Call me insensitive, rude or naive ... but I always assumed that homeless people should be nice when they are asking for money. Apparently, that is not the case anymore.
