My course work and restlessness this year has prompted me to seriously consider switching my major to pre-medicine. This is a huge decision.

Can you imagine walking down the hallway of your school and seeing someone running toward you with a gun?
I can't.
But for students at the SuccessTech high school in Cleveland, Ohio this was a reality yesterday. For the students at Virginia Tech this was a reality last year, and for the students at Columbine High School this was a reality.

You step out into a crisp, clear fall day; take a deep breath. You know how you feel when that cool air rushes to your lungs? I feel inspired or exhilirated. Its a feeling that can't just appear; its triggered by something.

How do you deal with feelings of insignificance?

How can some people make me feel so good and others make me feel so awful? Those who I felt I was closest to keep hurting me over and over again...They don't even get it...its just little things and I keep telling myself that, but they matter.
