I've recently heard a song called "Something Beautiful" it's a song by a band called newsboys. The song talks about how beautiful life and love is. And it got me thinking... Love is a beautiful thing, I'm not just talking about the love between a man and a woman, I'm talking about the love between people, the love that connects you to your siblings, parents and friends. Love is a very powerful thing, if you're a Christian, it was for love that Jesus died on the cross. He suffered the worse death possible so that we may have the chance for eternal life! It's love that makes us want to make that person smile, that makes you want to make that person happy no matter what it costs you. I don't believe in "love at first sight" because I think it takes time to develop such a connection with people. Love is a beautiful thing, it's "a kiss something any shame" it's a "child on her wedding day" and it's "the daddy who gives her away". Think about it, how deep love can run, it doesn't matter what that person has done or who that person used to be, love is forgiving, it's stronger than any other force in the world. Love is what makes a child to forgive their parents for putting him/her up for adoption, it's love that forgives, it's love that gives you a second chance. I think the ultimate test if you love someone is, ask yourself, would you be willing to die a slow and painful death to save that person? How much pain would you be willing to suffer for/instead of that person? I think love is one of the most beautiful things on earth because true love is pure, it never fades away and it will always forgive no matter how much it suffers.

Is it a necessary part of society or is it wrong? This has been the subject of much debate in my group. Some would say that it's necessary because (1) if it didn't exist, the prisons would be jam-packed of violent criminals and murders and we'd start running out of places to put them all and (2) If they are not put to death there's a chance that they will be released back into the public and kill more innocent victims. Some people I've met who are for the death penalty and are Christians look at it as by killing them we are sending them off to God to be judged by Him so that He will give them what they truly deserve.

Music is a powerful art form it can make you feel sad, happy, mad or even tired. I enjoy all music, everything from bluegrass (see username) to rock, rap, hip-hop, pop, country, classic country, sountracks, classical, punk, gospel and everthing in between. When you listen to music you can feel it, you can somehow know what the song is about even if doesn't have words, you can tell if it's angry, if it's happy, if it's sad. I think music is the ultimate art form because it has more depth than any other art form. You can hear, feel and sometimes (if you close your eyes) see music. Poems are almost like music, but their strenth, their power to overhelm is much less. If poems and music played MMOs, poems would always be at least 10 levels below music, they would play the same class, have the same powers, but music would simply be more powerful. A good song can make you cry, it can make you sob, it can sink into your emotions and make you feel the emotion in the song. That's the sign of a good song - one that you can feel, one that when you listen, I mean really listen, you can feel flow through your body like a river rushing down a hill.
