This is another thing I noticed while doing a search for funds for college. I come from a poor family, I'm the first college student in my entire family and the first to actually make the Dean's List. I have a severely disabled mother and I myself have a slight disability (I have Asthma, it used to be pretty bad but over the years I have gained some control over it). I am also of Native American heritage, however due to rather old and somewhat scant geneology records...my family can't yet get our papers saying we are officially of navajo and hopi bloodline. Thusly I have done the obligatory research for funds, grants and whatnot to help pay for my college (seeing as I am poor, every little bit helps). A musing on an injustice I see
http://bloodsigil.blacklily.nl/?p=51
My most current post upon my blogsite. It is the presentation of very well written article that tells the history of how the women's lib and feminist movement started through the eyes of a woman who was involved at first but then pulled out. My comments to the article are of a resounding applause to this woman. Since few listen to the words of men nowadays when it comes to things such men's rights or father's rights it is good to see a woman speaking. Too long has injustice ran rampart in this country ( I dwell in the U.S.A.) and with people like the author of this article maybe can put some sense back into this land.
