Lost in Translation
I'm currently taking a course to become an EMT-Basic. On one of the calls that I went to as an observer a little communication barrier arose.
The patient spoke spainsih and no english to us as we tried to figure out what exactly was wrong. I've taken two years of spanish over ITV and yeah....not a real big help to me...I obviously didn't learn much. Read More »

With more talks of carbon footprints, many investors found ways to stop their support of coal. Now the fight for coal has moved from Wall Street to Kansas. Read More »
Hiiiiyah!
A Saturday morning and I'm babysitting two little kids. A very rambunctious little boy who loves ninjas, dogs, and other general "boy" characters that he see's on TV. He emulates these characters, with a swift chop of his arms and a forceful "Hiiiiiyah" he successfully defeats his imaginary foes. Read More »
