My latest writing endeavor has two basic questions: Can a child harbor the thoughts of a murderer and or serial killer? and Can they change their ways or are they just a "bad seed"?
It is based on the play/movie The Bad Seed, in which a child committs a murder. The characters in the play beat around the bush the whole time, and the child acts innocent as hell.
When I read books, I write the ending as I read. I set characters up the way I see fit, or the way I think the author should. The author and I rarely have the same view points or ideas. My ideas are not lost thoughts, however, I turn them into ideas for my own novels, my characters doing what I thought the other author's character's should have done in the first place.
Wow. That came out of the mouth of somebody from the Admissions staff? Well, they were a student at the school once. But it was the best thing about college, in all four years? Uh-huh. That's a laugh.
Well, I am now, or almost am, a writer who will soon be among the mobs of other unpubsished writers screaming "Employ Me!" This doesn't sound like such a big deal at first. But when you look at my odds of actually getting published it becomes a big deal.
Well, what a year it has been. I was on this blog before, with the username of 'thepenfairy'. Not sure if anyone remembers me. But, oh well. The reason for this new account is quite simple: I had an unexpected e-mail change. Forgot the password, and had no idea how to get the old account back.
I love films. I love watching a film and imagining what the script looks like. It's truly amazing when you watch a film and you let the words guide you. When I see a film I like, it's like I know it's well-written. Many people may think I am just a teen with an obsession with movies. I beg to differ.
