'Bring Our Legs Together for Peace'

My Lady returns again
In SHE ancient times practiced, only by women, Astar (Easter) eggs were powerful amulets for fertility, prosperity, and protection. This symbol of her womb represents the Sun Goddess giving birth to the Sun God. This ancient ritual of drawing magical symbols of Transformation and rebirth is practiced every year.

Some things should remain private!
I've wondered why it has been necessary to advertise feminine products or sex enhancement products. It's not like WOMEN were going to use any more or any less of the products out there. Our cycles pretty much require the same amount of products monthly. Come on folks, this is not rocket science.

Happy Vaginal 2007!
The choice of celibacy or the design of…
Last Friday, a select group of women with common connection with a local oppressive spa we all worked at in the past, yielded startling results for me. We had all broken bread at favorite Japanese restaurant and some of the women gathered afterwards with me at my place to discuss our past lives since our massive exile from the spa. We all laughed and shouted about our glories since departure. As the room was swept away with laughter and new thoughts to ponder, a topic emerged which was pressing on my heart and all others except my closet friend who was now in a blossoming lesbian relationship. The conversation was so lively that I remarked that I felt like Jessica Parker on “Sex in the city”. Someone else shouted this could be the next “sitcom”. The topic which had risen was the one of vaginal discomforts and the absence of sex as a choice or consequence of sex.

Witchcraft and the Oppression of women
A witch traditionally has been considered a wise woman. The title was an acknowledgement of ancient wisdom and applicable modalities which had been practiced and protected by women since the beginning of civilization. “Indo-European root “Weik” which has to do with religion and magic, Norse “wihl” meant craftiness, “wik/ wikk/wihen/weihen” meant in
Germany ‘holy’ and to predict and to consecrate.”1 Many early civilizations were termed matriarchal. This directly reflects a long historical tradition of societies based on women and their practices. There is an enormous amount of documentation on the subject of cultures started and maintained by women. The absence of this material as being viewed as “common” is a direct result of the oppression of women, her cultures and achievements in order to keep her oppressed and docile. Even her most exalted and revered name for eons was Goddess “Devi” would now be used against her, usurped and termed “Devil”.

The Veil has Lifted

Hijabs and Catholic Nuns
I love public radio (NPR)! I have listened for years since my college recruiting days in Tennessee in the late 80's. Over the past few months I have listened to interviews and commentaries on the wearing of Hijabs and veils by Muslim/Islamic females. I support these women's ability to embrace their culture and religious preference, something many Americans have begun to view as un-patriotic or un American. One of the aspects of being American is the promotion of its "freedom" of expression and religious practices. Today, one has to wonder if we still hold this cornerstone aspects of America valid. America was founded on such "freedoms", but you would not know it today by the numerous discussions over women wearing hijabs and then going so far as to put these women on trial who chose to wear the hijab or veils.. The conversations around such "freedoms" make me wonder if we as "Americans" still believe in our choices and rights or not.

Earth Wo(mb)man and Al Gore's New Movie
Al Gore is on a Goddess/feminine mission. Seeing his movie "An Inconvenient Truth" falls in line with my path of re-membering the ancient Goddess. My soul's mission, his Earth mission.
Would Gore be taken less serious if he were really saying what he is really up to? Or does he know the path he now walks is the path of the Sacred Goddess. It's not just about earth! It's about how patriarchal society treats women (Feminine) and shows its level of respect for women/earth.
