Do you know what is really cool?  Music.

This stems from my last post about a need for change in our way of life.  I listed some things that I currently do, but then I started thinking about things that I can do in the future.

I wish I had more time.  I wish I could do more.

Every year I make a list of things I want to accomplish: learn Spanish, learn Italian, learn to read music and to play piano, guitar, and/or violin, volunteer at the animal shelter.  

So I've been reading some posts about how people are feeling nostalgic about being young and watching cartoons and eating a big stack of pancakes for breakfast on their Sunday morning and how much the times have changed, and I got to thinkin about safety today.

Sometimes I really wonder about America.  Is this country really so great?  We grow up hearing about how lucky we are to live in a country that has so much freedom and offers so many opportunities, but are we really lucky?
