Over the time that I have been blogging at progressiveU, I have made rather valiant attempts at disproving evolution and proving the existence of God. While I may have been valiant and stubborn, I was most certainly ignorant. I was ignorant of the science of evolution, of the philosophies surrounding it, and simply how to debate.
As humans, we pride ourselves in our superior intelligence, customs and advanced way of living. We make great displays of our generosity by donating to charity every christmas and volunteer once in while, walking away with one less hungry person in the world and a "fuzzy feeling". This does appear to be generous, but in fact is only self-serving.
O.k. I have to get a few things straight. First of all, I get very very annoyed when people insist that global warming is a man made problem. I am tired of people getting in my face and telling me to drive a lousy hybrid and save the whales at the same time. In fact, while I am at it-why don't I hug a few trees.
Hello everyone! Its been a great year, here at progressiveU and with just 5 days left until this contest ends I would like to bow out gracefully during this time. I would like to recognize some people and say my goodbyes.
Many are not sure whether there is a God or not. Some say that Buddha is the true God, others say that Alla is, and still others say that we are gods. Atheists claim that there is no God and still others believe in ancient gods and godesses. Well, there is proof of God's existence and if you will just be patient with me, you will soon find out.
I read an article from Time Magazine called "when cells stop working". The purpose of the article was to discuss the mysterious illness called the mitochondrial disease. Yet what I saw was something much deeper, more sinister from within the structure of our science and medical institutions.
