I recently went to Philadelphia Biblical University to do an overnight visit and I have to say that going to the University was a great experience for me. PBU was #7 on my list of favorite colleges but going there has changed my mind completely. I love the University mission to help students mature as a Christian and I love the campus. The best part was going to the classes, they were amazing. I felt welcome by the students. The professors are really funny and seem to care about their students. PBU is number two on my list of favorite colleges and I hope to get accepted in PBU. In my opion I thinks students that are applying to colleges should do a overnight visit at the colleges you are thinking about applying to. You will probably change your mind about the colleges and where they are on your favorite college list.

I’m so thankful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because without him I would be lost in this world with no hope. I believe that with him I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I never knew I could be loved until I find Jesus. I’m thankful for my family because they are the ones who pick me up when I am down. They make me laugh and want to get up and enjoy life. Thankful for all of my sisters in Christ because I have grown as a Christian and I believe it was God that sent them to me so I could lean on someone who understands me or been through what I been through.

In my opinion I think this world is getting worst. The things that are going on surprise me and other ways scared me. I find it crazy to hear in the news (at least five times), that little children are getting killed by their parents. I really don’t understand how anyone could kill a child. There is no excuse for it. Not even if they were crying all night. People need to think before they bring babies in this world and they are not prepared to take care of them. The question that (in my opinion) to cross their mind is “I am finical and willing to take care of this child?” Every child deserve to have a life where they can find love from their parents and a good home to grow up in, not abuse.

I love that I am a Christian who has be justified. It feels so good to know that I have been forgiving for my sins and that I have the Lord Jesus Christ as my savoir. I didn’t take my faith and becoming a Christian serious. I was like many Christians who didn’t take God serious. I was a friend to the world. I hardly read my bible or spend time with God. But now I am getting older and all I want to do is to grow in my faith in God, and have a relationship with my God. So have decide to surrender everything just get closer to him and grow as a Christian.

As a young adult I feel like I have a lot of responsibilities from school to work. I would have never thought one of those responsibilities would be to register to vote. I thought that voting was for people who have professional’s jobs and that voting would matter because the people don’t actually vote, someone else did. But now I am watching what is going on in the political world I feel it is my duty to get involve. To know the facts about who are running and what they believe in. After all I am getting older and need to know what is going on in the world. So I have decided to get involve and visit websites like dontvote.com to get the facts about who are running.

In
New York, I am use to the weather being cold. But this past summer weather was a surprise and unpredictable. There were times the weather was so hot that I would sweat in my sleep. It was crazy because on top of that I would have to walk to work in the heat. Then on other days the weather was just fine. To me I don’t mind the weather being hot because I love the heat but hate the cold. Now, I can’t help to wonder how this winter weather will be. “Will the weather be hot or cold”, or “Will it snow or not”. I hope that this weather in the winter will not be too cold and that it will snow. I like to see the snow.

I thought being a high school senior would be a relax and exciting year. But for me this last year has been giving me ups and downs. There are times I have been up till 11 o’clock at night doing homework. I have to take my SAT’s in November and I am scared because I don’t know what how I will do. I will keep studying and not let myself have negative thoughts, but it’s really hard. I don’t know why I have to get nervous about everything. I guess it’s just me not wanting to be surprise. But there are times I am just happy to be a senior. I am able to go to open houses to visit the colleges I find interest in. For example, I went to an open house in PA to visit
Eastern
University. I never thought I would fall in love with a school but I did. The campus was so beautiful and I felt at home. I hope to get accepted at that school. Also hope that as I continue to visit schools the choice to picking the schools won’t be hard. As the school year goes on I will just do my best in school and try to enjoy school. That might be hard but I’m ready for all the stress and joy I will have in my last year of high school.
