IMMIGRANTS UNITED IN NEW YORK CITY!!! THAT'S RIGHT. I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE SOMETHING WITH YOU ALL.  PROUD TO SAY THAT I WAS THERE!!

I just got back from the NYC March rally to the city hall in lower Manhattan. I did not do the whole walk because I had a meeting with my youth group. However, I had a great time walking on Broadway street with various groups of people.  Read More »

I just got back from the NYC March rally to the city hall in lower Manhattan. I did not do the whole walk because I had a meeting with my youth group. However, I had a great time walking on Broadway street with various groups of people. Today, everybody was marching to the Cityhall for one reason: immigrants rights.  Read More »

Questions & Answers about Genocide in Darfur

Tagged:  •    •

Since there are many posts about genocide in Darfur, I wondered if some of you know about it and what is happening. I decided to post Q&A from BBC news. This way, when bloggers updated stuff about Darfur, you know what they're talking about.

Link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/3496731.stm

Q&A: Sudan's Darfur conflict The impact on people of the two-year conflict in Sudan's western region of Darfur has been described as the world's worst humanitarian crisis by the United Nations.

Some two million people are estimated to now live in camps, having fled their homes and at least 180,000 are thought to have died during the crisis. Sudan's government and the pro-government Arab militias are accused of war crimes against the region's black African population, although the UN has stopped short of terming it a genocide.  Read More »

One Stupid Immigration Bill (HR 4437) Provisions

This one is for those who don't know much about the bill except the fact that it would deport illegal immigrants. Read it and educate yourself. After reading this, maybe you would understand why many people are so against it. Seriously, it's more than just deporting illegal immigrants.

The BEST NCAA Tournament

This year's March Madness has been the best one I have ever seen so far. Seriously, so many upset matches like Duke and Gonzaga. The most surprising team this year is George Mason. Who on earth would think that this team would make it this far? Not me. My Yahoo NCAA tournament fantasy bracket is ruin. I thought Duke was going to win. I don't know anymore. George Mason may have a chance to win the title. LSU has a chance too. So, I guess we have to wait and see who's gonna get the title.  Read More »

One Stupid Immigration Bill (HR 4437)

Do you think immigrants (legal or not) deserve to have same rights as U.S citizens? If not, then don't read this article.

Ladies and gentelmen, our government has made another stupid move. U.S House of Rep passed the immigration control bill (H.R 4437). Acoording to righttruth.typepad.com, this bill targets illegal hiring, provide for a border fence, stop catch-and-release enforcement policy, mandate federal cooperation with state and local police in immigration-law enforcement, and end the visa lottery, among other measures. With that being said, millions of immigrants are going to affect by it.  Read More »

"For Once, Blame the Student"

Tagged:  •    •    •

I decided to repost this article from the U.S A Today. I think it's interesting how a teacher especially this one view the problem of the education. So while you are reading this, ask youself, is this really true that foreign students are performing better in school than the U.S citizens? Should the students be blame for the failure U.S education and not teachers?
