On Wednesday April 26th 2006, I will be in the Capitol Hill with my youth group, Global Kids, to take about the importance of primary education around the world. I will be speaking with senetors like Clinton and Congressmen Malony fron New York. I am very excited. So far, I'm enjoying my time in D.C. Basically, I just got to D.C this afternoon. It was a cool and pain 4 hour ride from NYC to D.C. Global Kids and NetAid are going to make the case about global education at the capitol hill. So, I will tell you more about it later. For now, answer me this question do you think it's better to spend money on support foreign countries on education than spending money in endless and pointless war in Iraq?

War In Iraq could cost up to 1 Trillion Dollar!! Give me a break
It makes me sick to learn that the war in Iraq will cost up to 1 trillion dollar pretty soon. I don't know when Bush is going to take the troops out. The country is dividing over many issues (i.e: immigration, gay marriage, war and etc.) Instead of solving the real problem, the government and Mr.Bush just simply attempted to do something but nothing came out. The Immigration bill for example, I don't know how many times the Congress say it's going to pass a bill. Now what? Stuck in the middle. It's election year and people in D.C are just trying to do something that would make avaerge American citizens vote for them. Read More »
Is U.S Jealous of China or What?
First of, there are so many things that I don't like about China. For example, the situation in Tibet in which many Tibetans are being treated like animals by the Chinese government. China never admits anything that has a chance of ruin the country's reputation. However, China is one of the fastest growing country in the world economically. Yet, the United States is trying to stop China from growing. Read More »

"Why bother blogging when no one listens to you? "
In my high school, Academy of American Studies, I am known as Ms.Controversy. Why? Because I write stuff that goes against school policy. My school is not like other schools where kids can write whatever they want. Every news article for the school newspaper has to be read and approved by the principal and asst. prinicipal. Therefore, many of my articles were rejected.
My high school's prinicpal doesn't really like students to write about politics or any controversal issues. She even told me that purpose of having school newspaper is to inform what goes on at the Academy. Often times, I wrote stuff that either critize the school or Bush administration. None of them make the cut to the paper. When I told colleges about my situtation, they thought I was lying. Whatever man, I already know where i'm going, so it doesn't matter. Read More »

Is the Quality of American Education Going Backward?
Two questions I want to hear from all over you. 1) Oprah asked on today's show "Is America a drop out nation?" 2) my question is "Is the Quality of American Education Going Backward? "
I'll tell you my thoughts about those questions later. But before that...
Let's pull out some facts from the Oprah show. Every 9 seconds, one high school student drops out. Overall, one million high school students drop out each year. Many high school students quit school because they find learning boring. They want to make money. Now, some of them are regreting about the decision they made when they were sixteen. These pupils think that making money is better than sitting in school 8 hours a day and don't get pay. However, they do not see the wrong run. Kids who dropped out are now enrolling in the GED program to get a high school diploma. It's sad to see my, your fellow classmates, friends, and family members to quit school because they want to "make money". Honestly, students who graduated with a bachelor's degree are making more income than high school drop outs. Read More »
