Is there anybody out there?

Hello everyone. So this is my first blog entery...EVER Ive always heard other people that are into blogging, my mother included, I have just never done it before. I have always seen myself as a very private person, and this blogging thing seems like people put their lives on display a little much. Maybe it would be good for me, as I have nothing in common with alot of my friends anymore (they are all young and childless and don't understand my need to be mature). And to be totally honest, a major reason I am giving this blogging thing a shot is because I WANT THAT SCHOLARSHIP.. I grdauated High school 2 1/2 years ago and only have 12 college credits! I have always felt a quench for knowledge and I am, in a sence, disappointing myself by not going back to school sooner. Before this past semester being pregnant and being a young, single parent is what held me back. Now it is finances. I go for a reading comprehension test on Halloween to see if I get accepted into the College of Notre Dame of Maryland- I really hope I do. My past 12 credits were taken at a community college and the professors lack of interest was really uninspiring. In order to afford Notre Dame of Maryland, I need money (being recently laid off doesn't help) AH times are hard right now.
