Don't Just Live in the Moment... SITUATIONAL AWARENESS!!!

You're there, you're having fun, you don't wanna stop, and although it can be summed up as either, stupid, senseless, dangerous, or just plain wrong when you think rationally, you just wanna gratify your own wants. There really is no room for rationality once you've hit your comfort zone long enough (it's PROVEN). And then BAM. You hit the highlight of your fun! It's all over. You've succeeded in making yourself feel great, but to really no rational meaning.

Congratulations. You've made yourself feel GREAT. Furthermore, you've opened up the door to regret, & then when rationality starts to hit home, you look at what you've done and ask "what was I thinking?!?!?!?". By the end of the day, you've come to grips with the stupidity of the move you made just because your main concern was living for that moment. That's a VERY dangerous thing to get into in the long run, because when you live in the moment, you're prone to making lots of mistakes, and often times you don't realize it until you're done, but by then it's too late. Depending on what you do, retribution is sure to follow, whether externally or through your conscience. And believe me, whether it's big or small, it's never a good feeling. What's worse is that people have a habit of going BACK to that same mistake weeks or even days later, because the truth is that stupid decisions (with good- feeling side effects) work in a way that when you yield to them once, you don't get the impulse that says "ok... I finally did it so I don't gotta worry about it anymore.", but you get a lust for more of that (especially when it only FEELS good), because often times, one try is enough to get addicted if you lack self discipline (well I shouldn't say that, because even "strong people" aren't always the exception.). And once you're addicted, it's so hard to cut, because your mentality is shifted toward the moment.

Failing to plan=planning to fail. Living in the moment and winging it shows that you have NO plan. Don't fall into living for the moment consistently... or you'll fall apart in your own "fun".
