Success

In America, success is to have a goal of making one’s dream come true. Success makes people feel happy and does not regret choosing the wrong goals. The feeling of accomplishment makes people feel proud of themselves and enjoy the outcome. Who doesn’t want to accomplish something greater in life? Most people do. We determine our own success. Success isn’t determined by others because we determine what success means to us. Success doesn’t always mean being rich or famous like being a celebrity. People can consider themselves successful for doing something they desire the most.
Equal opportunity means that everyone is given a good chance to make their dreams come true. Equal opportunity does exist but we still need to work hard to gain it in society. Opportunity doesn’t just come to us without earning it; we need to put forth some effort to achieve our goals. It is much more difficult to find equal opportunity if the world is unjust to people who are judged upon race, class, gender and culture. In society, success is through hard work and determination facing discrimination or prejudice against race. If one gets through discrimination or prejudice, then more opportunities will come. Opportunities are there for us because people will soon get along with us instead of feeling discriminated or prejudiced.
