Aristotle's metaphysics

When i was taking philosophy during my freshmen year at college, I read about Aristotle. According to Aristotle, human acquire knowledge through experience. In other words, to have experience is to make an connection and remember it. Aristotle said that science and art comes to men through experience. Art is kind of like gathering experience and understandings. While science is like gathering knowledge to search for the answers to our problems. An example is that if a man ran across the streets and almost got hit by a car, then through experience he would not repeat the same action again. With experience, that man would understand running across the streets is very dangerous and would not try to do it again. Another example would be a man smoking for years and the doctor tells him he might have lung cancer. That man would know that he should quit smoking sooner so he would not die of lung cancer. When a person realizes there are consequences, then he would take precautions instead of repeating the same mistakes. Even a doctor needs many years of experience before he could diagnose a sick person. A doctor requires many years of experience through art and science.
