Hi everyone,
I've now been back in Upstate New York a little more then a week and I'm rediscovering all the treasure hidden amoung the trees out here...
1) Wild carrot grows everywhere! Since I've begun using this plant as a birth control, I'm happy that I can go outside of whatever beudour I happen to be making love in and find wild carrot and eat the seeds and know I won't get pregnant! How exciting!
2) I love rednecks! When I went away, for some reason I forgot how charming rednecks can really be; because they don't see beautiful women very often, they'll do anything to impress me, and that I like. I forgot how wonderful that felt!
3) Along those same lines; men around here are better in bed! Yeah, I don't know if it is the climate, the culture, or something else entirely, but the men out here are eager to please! Men in Portland didn't give a damn about me (I guess ladies like me where a dime a dozen out there), men out here value me, and I like that!
4) Rednecks have better bands! Ok, so they only know how to play Led Zepplin cover songs? Well, they certainly put all the passion they can muster into those songs they know...
5) Storms are better out here! For reals, I was so tired of that passive-agressive constant drizzle bullshit. Glad to be back in the land of Viking-Fury storms...thunderstorms and hail, sleet, snow, freezing rain, etc...
Of course I miss my friends in Portland! (And the chickens, and the cat, Bill Murray.) I miss The Doctor with his quirky, crazy, junky bullshit. I miss Rowan walking around the block with me when I was stressed out and picking opium poppies with him. I miss Locke, Isis (Isis the lovely as I call her in my head,) Drew, Andrew, Jasper, Lyria and all the other random folks who lived at/crashed at/hung out at our communal house while it was a communal house. But sighing for the past does no good; so I find it is better to focus on the future!
Love and rage,
Carrot

Don't you have to eat them consistently for a year for them to be ...99% effective?
There are very few human beings who receive the truth, complete and staggering, by instant illumination. Most of them acquire it fragment by fragment, on a small scale, by successive developments, cellularly, like a laborious mosaic.~- Anais Nin
I guess I'm at a point in my life where I'm willing to experiment a little; if I get pregnant, I'll be overjoyed, if I don't get pregnant, I'll be overjoyed...
I've read a lot about wild carrot seeds and talked to three or four different women who use them successfully as birth control. Some women take them like the morning after pill; the morning after sex they eat a tablespoon of them. Some women take them every day. Some women take them in a tincture form, or tea, or eat them raw.
I've been eating them raw because you can taste the oils that are the active ingredient, so I'd say that is probably the most powerful way to take them. I also take them for three days after a sexual encounter just to be safe, and because the most relyable source I've found that talks about them www.sisterzeus.com, recommends this dosage. My friend Katarra says NOT to buy the tincture form online; she used this method for a while and ended up pregnant.
Anyway, I guess I'll let all of you know how this experiment turns out.
Love,
Carrot
