Moving Day Strike 1

So we have this great opportunity to move in with friends of ours. They have a huge house and their basement is not used by anyone. He travels a lot and she hates being alone in that big house. They offered for us to live there and just help out with utilities as rent. I'm so excited because it means that we would be playing about half of what we're paying now. And its only like 2 blocks away which makes it an easy move. Until my husband comes down with a stomach bug. He came home Friday nauseous and weak and then it started. He was pretty much sick all night Friday affectively cancelling the move of our stuff to the house on Saturday. Not the complete end of the world, but we were pretty much all packed. The only things not packed are the beyond essentials, and I might even need to unpack more things to get through this week. Assuming he can get this coming Saturday off to move, then we can move then. The hard part would be him getting off work. We've been planning this Saturday for a month so he could get the day off....ugh sometimes his work drives me nuts. Of all times for him to get sick.
