In n' Out: Part Two

Day 2

I woke up a bit early so that I could go to the leasing office for the appartment and move all of my stuff out of that room. It's a shame, but only slightly. My laziness wanted to stay because I didn't want to move anything, but my hygeine and morals wanted to leave because of the filth and the booze.
Afte haphazardly moving everything to the car (we couldn't even use the boxes we brought anymore), we went to the leasing office where we asked to see the manager. Evan told us that she wasn't in at the moment, so we left and went to the on-campus housing office in both hope and desperation.
I was very VERY lucky. There was an opening in some of the rooms in their appartment-style rooms. In my head I was rejoicing. I could live on campus, same place and floor as some of my friends, wake up late and not be late for classes!
We returned to the leasing office at the apartments. After a very confusing talk involvng the contract, signatures, and legal mumbo-jumbo, we couldn't cancel my contract. I would have to find someone to sub-lease if I didn't want to stay in the appartment. We went lawyer hunting.
After picking up my little sis from the hotel, we went to the lawyer that took my mom an hour and a half to find. She was explained that I could be sued for breaking the contract. The lawyer said that he would write up a letter defending my case.
That night, we prayed the rosary together.

Day 3

After going to the lawyer to pick up a copy of the letter, we adjourned to the bookstore.
Slept terribly that night.

Day 4

Today is the big day. We arrived at the dorms early so that we could be first in line for check-in. Since I was a late addition to the dorms, I wasn't on any of the papers, so the process for me took much longer than it did for most people. We rented a dolly and took three trips to get everything to my second floor room. I was so excited! This would be my new place for the rest of the year.
We went to Target again to buy a few things again. There were things that we needed to buy because the dorm required a few more things than what I had brought. After putting everything up, we went back to the hotel. I left things there.

Adult life is weird.
