I love the beach! There are so many awesome things to do at the beach any time of day. Not to mention…there are so many different types of beaches across America as well.
I live in southern California and I absolutely love going to the beach during the summer. For example, one can go surfing in the morning, kick it in the water, go sunbathing, or play in the sand during the day, look at tide pools at sunset, and have a huge bonfire at night.
Personally, I love it all. The only thing I cannot do is surf, but someday I want to learn how. I am soo lucky. Tonight I went to the beach to have a bonfire with some friends. And tomorrow, I am going to the beach during the day with my cousins.
My favorite part of the beach is the sun. I love lying out and working on my tan. I am going to school in Rhode Island this fall so I am hoping to get a good tan that will last me through the entire winter, lol.
I hear that Rhode Island has some pretty pristine beaches too. My guess is that they will be pretty cold though because it is so far north. Anyways, I love summer because of all the awesome things to do at the beach.
The Beach!

enjoy your amazing sunny beach and be glad your not somewhere like wisconsin. it sucks for many reasons especially the part i live in. but what really sucks is that the only beach is the beach on lake michigan and it is disgusting, you can smell the rotting fish and the sewage from like a mile away. haha. the only escape i ever get is when me and my family go to florida and enjoy the great madeira beach. and i have actually been to rhode island twice and it isnt as cold as everyone thinks it is and there are surprisingly plenty of things to do there. but good luck getting a tan that will last you all winter haha =)
Aww, I am soo sorry your beaches are so horrible. I actually have a family friend that lives in upper Michigan, and it sounds soooo cold. The lake freezes over and they put ice huts on it. It sounds kinda fun, but probaly only for like a week or two, lol :)
I have been watching the weather in Rhode Island, and it looks pretty nice so far. So, we shall see, haha.
Enjoy Florida, it's really nice there. I love all the thunder storms :)
There's a few good ones by Cleveland. We've been taking food and "lemonade" up there for picnics, but I dunno if bonfires are allowed. Sounds like fun! Smores would be at least 13% better on a beach.
