So this is the beginning of what is. Through my trek of becoming a graphic designer I will speak of the highs and lows of reaching my goal. Before coming about this blog, I come to find that graphic design or " visual communications " is a very competitive field even in college. You go up against friends who become your foes because you are trying to beat them by drawing a better poster or what not. Yet in the end you are or should be happy for those who defeated you if you didn't win. I know that one day I might see some of them in the field. Hopefully working with them or for them.
This field of choice I have chosen because to me if offers versatility, versatility in the art field because you work with all mediums from pen/ink to Adobe illustrator. It takes a lot of work to get form point A to B. Some days you could have 20 thumbnails others you could you have 90+. It comes all down to the assignments that you recieve. Some can be quite easy and fun to while others are a bit of a challenge. The time that you spend on doing projects or assignments will determine the quality what you come up with. For myself I push myself to the limits to achieve my potential. I know if I don't do that, that it's my fault. No one stands in my way, but myself.
