the lady had an abortion at 6 months not 7 and i think that some states that is legal. also its not that they baby is talking literally and if people think it is, those are the ones who are for abortion. its symbolic, its just giving you details about the process and what develops in what month. like month one he/she has organs; things that are not alive do not have organs. at four months he/she has hair and fingers and toes, things that are not alive do not have fingers and toes. Have you ever seen a rock with fingers or toes? Have you ever seen sand or metal with fingers and toes or even with organs? And yes i know accidents happen but people should think more before they act and go get pregnant. Give it away lots of people want babies, now i am not saying its ok to go get preg and think I will give it away. I dont think its like a puppy. But lots of people would love babies. i know there are so many kids in foster care. at least they are hopefully being taken care of at least they are not killed by their own parents.
Are there 3rd trimester abortions?
A more recently developed method here is the partial birth abortion, also called "brain suction" or "D&X" methods.
- These are done after 4 or 5 months.
- 80% of babies are normal.
- Most babies are viable.
This is like a breech delivery. The entire infant is delivered except the head. A scissors is jammed into the base of the skull. A tube is inserted into the skull, and the brain is sucked out. The now-dead infant is pulled out.
YOU SHOULD SEE THESE PICTURES IT IS GROSS!! THEY ARE PREMATURE BABIES WITH EVERYTHING DEVELOPED.
if you want to see a drawing of this cut and paste this in to your browser. i would think if people seen those images it would make them not want abortions unless they are just that cold hearted.

only 23 of our states have banned this "late-term abortion"

I've never heard an actual pro-choice advocate use these arguments. Rather, this is a common misreprentation of the pro-choice position that some pro-lifers invent in order to counter their opponents through the tactic or reducto ad absurdum.
The REASON that induced abortions are (and should be legal) is because very few people are truly comfortable with the idea that the government should be able to use deadly force (not an exaggeration...all law enforcement relies on the implicit threat of deadly force to ensure compliance) to compel a woman who does not want to carry her pregnancy to term.
The REASON that pre-borns are not considered "persons" in a legal sense is that there is NO OBJECTIVE CONSENSUS among the relevant authorities (neither legal, medical, philosophical nor religious) that would conclude that a pre-born is a "human person" (subject to ALL that implies) in any compelling sense from the moment of conception. And, in the lack of any such objective consensus, it would not be a legitimate use of the police power of the State to compel through force a private citizen to surrender his or her right of conscience in favor of the subjective decisions of other citizens.
It is quite possible for a "pro-choicer" to be against abortion (and I count myself among them) in the sense that any abortion is a tragedy. It does seem to me to be a monumental waste of one of if not the most valuable resource of the human race, i.e. children. However, I understand that my opinion lacks any objective basis, and in and of itself does not give ME (or you) the right to make that kind of decision for anyone else.
THAT is in a nutshell the basis of the Roe v. Wade decision.

Wow...This is the best even headed nutshell response to an abortion topic I have ever seen!
Awesome!
There are very few human beings who receive the truth, complete and staggering, by instant illumination. Most of them acquire it fragment by fragment, on a small scale, by successive developments, cellularly, like a laborious mosaic.~- Anais Nin
Sorry for being lazy and not looking it up myself. Somehow, I don't trust the integrity of the original blog. I know you to be quick and handy with facts, so hopefully you won't mind sharing?
I am curious about how many states allow it, and what is the cut off in gestational age, if any?
