In today’s economic crisis, I cannot believe how rich some people actually are!! From this point forward, I know that anything is possible. Thousands of people are getting laid off, people are losing their homes, and families are struggling to put food on the table. And yet, some people are so rich they can have arguments through writing their own novels.
This may be a little hard to comprehend, but I read in Star magazine that Tori Spelling and her mother, Candy, are in the middle of a very big fight right now. In fact, Tori wrote a book about her childhood, Tori Telling, and included some very nasty things about her mother. She included one incident when she was twelve and asked her parents if she was pretty. Candy said, “You will be when you get your nose done.” Candy then turned around and published her own book to refute all the things Tori said about her. For example, Tori noted in her novel that she took a couple of recipes from the family cookbook, and in Candy’s book she said, “Note to Tori; Give them back.”
I honestly cannot believe how much money is in the world right now when so many people are going through tough times. Money can be spent on so much better things than a book war. If I were Tori, Candy, or any other rich person, I would spend money on the necessities and use the rest for something more productive than publishing books full of arguments.
