My Pencil Sketches

I want to be practicing all my life to be a better artist than yesterday. I believe that the mileage of drawing counts.(in other words there’s no short cut) But sometimes, I am drawing and find myself feeling so peaceful. Almost like some form of a meditation I however prefer to use pencil and sometimes will turn to color pencil to execute a decent sketch.
When sketching with pencil, I like mechanical pencil with H lead. They are dark enough to see but leave very clean lines.
I tend to start a lot of my concept art as a pencil sketch. I had a lot of fun with this and a few other sketches. Drawing is a relaxing and fun hobby for anyone willing to take the time to learn it, step by step. Just let yourself go and sketch, concentrating on what you're drawing. It is important to think positively, and not be too hard on yourself.
Sometimes it's incredibly stressfull having to draw complicated postures in so little time. Over and over again, without grasping the key to the proportions no matter how you try. I have a sketchbook and some decent drawing pencils, but I don’t think they’re my medium. They’re a little messy and even though I love experimenting with texture, I work best in color. I hope you can spare the time to take a look and leave a comment if you wish,

kisses

I've been working to draw the human figure without guidelines (like, without a picture as reference) and I'm still having trouble with it. But your sketches prove to everyone that practice makes perfect, and that there's always room for improvement. Maybe I should be saying that "practice makes better sketches".
