You Make Yourself "right"

Laying it out:
There are "positive" people and then there are "negative" people and all sorts of people in between. Now, because the world is a tragic place where humans cheat and trample all over one another, it just so happens that these "negative" people turn out to be more right, more often, then the "positive" people. So these assholes think they have earned the right to call themselves realists (and possibly even "intelligent"). This seems perfectly logical possibly making you wonder why I feel the need to call these (intelligent) "realists" assholes:
Reality is so often subject to human interaction and human interaction is directly subject to individual attitudes.

Suppose I am in a relationship. My partner insists that it will work out but I am negative about it.
Constantly.
No....wait....Let me just say that I am being "realistic" about it. Naturally, since I am "realistic" about the situation, I will withhold my feelings, keep distance, and possibly feel no guilt in accusing my partner or even personally partaking in the acts of lying, cheating or whatever else I feel must occur in order keep the necessary walls up that accommodate my negative attitude and fears. In the end, I can say I am right, because the relationship failed, and I would be correct in saying that.
I'm sure you see where this is going...

Point: People assume that just because someone is correct MORE often, this must imply they have a MORE correct attitude. This is a crooked route of logic and these people are sadly mistaken. Think about it...do you really want some asshole to be correct if the outcome is tragic? Answering this question for myself, I must state:
FUCK NO...give me an incorrect positive person any day!!!!

Not to say that I don't respect the TRUE realists. But if you are a negative person who's attitude is directly affecting my reality, or anyone else's, then GET OVER YOURSELF! It is much easier to bulldoze a beautiful old building down than it is to renovate it. It is much easier to predict a negative outcome (especially when you are participating in it) than it is to hope, build, and work your ass off for a better future.
It is so MUCH easier to drag everyone down than it is to lift even ONE person up.

(Now you can see why I call these "realists" assholes!?)
: )
I hope I have solved the anomaly of why people with incorrect attitudes can be more correct than people with correct attitudes.
...Or maybe that last sentence blurred it up again... ; )

You may make yourself right...but in the grand scheme of things, that absolutely can NOT compare to doing the right thing and building the right attitude, even if it means being "incorrect" almost everyday.
