College is one of the most important times in life. This is when teenagers grow up and blossom into responsible adults (usually lol). The road may difficult, rough, and full of temptations, but most students will go on to graduate with a degree and get a job.

If one is lucky enough to go away to college, he or she will learn many valuable lessons that will prepare them for the future. Although I am not a college student yet, I know I will be forced to adapt in more ways than one. Issue number ONE: I will be forced to keep my room clean because I doubt my roommate will want to sleep in a messy room. Issue number TWO: I must learn to actually get up when my alarm clock goes off. My dad will not be there to wake me up every fifteen minutes to make sure I get to school on time. Here comes a big one, issue number THREE: I need to manage my time, or else I will fail!! I still need to perfect my time management skills. My parents will be little to no help to me two thousand miles away. I will be completely on my own!!

On another note…

College is an important time that every young adult should experience. It is a time of trial and error. Kids are thrust into the world and forced to rehabilitate and adjust to new environments. Experiencing problems and finding solutions are two of the things that make college so great.

Although I am yet to start college, I have big plans upon graduation. When I graduate, I will have not only received an in depth education in my major, I will have also learned a great deal about life as well. All of my secondary education will prepare me for the next step in life. A college education will teach me time management, how to work and collaborate with others, and how to work hard to achieve my goals. I plan to get the best job I possibly can, and my degree is one of the biggest things that will get me there.

I thought I'd comment on the first part of this blog.

These days, just because you go to college it's not a guarentee that you'll succeed. In fact, many college graduates have a hard time getting hired or finding a job that suits them.

It also takes a person of a particular mindset to complete the requirements of college. Lots of college students are there for the "Big Party" and that's it.

I'm not saying this is you. By no means. It's just that the face of college is changing and you need to be aware of those changes to make it work for you.
