Why does the prospect of cheating entice so many people? If you do not want to be with the person you are currently with you should tell them flat out. There is no sense going behind their back and wasting their time when you are not fully committed to your relationship. Cheating seems to be at a high rate. It seems like finding a decent nice guy is nearly impossible. If the lifestyle you want to live is to be with more than one person you need to let every person you are with in on your intentions. Good or bad that is something that a person should be told. It doesn't sound any better coming from a friend later. Cheating is betrayal. It does not matter if you are married or not. It is still wrong. Although it is worse if you are married because you made a vow to be with that certain person, and only that certain person. It is not okay and never will be okay. My fear is that cheating is becoming more and more acceptable. Girlfriends take back their boyfriends after they cheat or the other way around. What in a persons mind makes them think that is okay? If someone cheated once most likely they are going to cheat again. There is no good reason to cheat. Even if your boyfriend or girlfriend is cheating on you you need to break it off. You should never go out and cheat with someone else as revenge. Most likely you will regret it. All in all you just should not cheat.
