Ever since President Obama took over it seems like we never hear anything about the war in Iraq. When Bush was president news channels were constantly reporting on the latest updates in Iraq. Now it seems that no one wants to report about it. I get up every morning and watch the news while I eat my breakfast and I haven't heard about the war in at least two months. What happened to trying to bring our troops home? People throughout the country were enraged that Bush was not letting the troops come home. Now all of a sudden with a new president it isn't such a big deal. At one point it seemed that all the news stations talked about was Iraq. Now if you hear Iraq's name mentioned in one sentence your doing well. The war isn't over and the troops are still over there so shouldn't we still be able to hear what is going on with them. Maybe I have just been missing all the news stories about the war, but it seems unlikely. I'm not saying I want to constantly hear about all the intricate details about the war, but an update here and there would be nice. Since it seems interest in the war has gone down are our troops ever going to get to come home. When will this war end and why are we still there? If only I knew the answers to those questions.
