Puddle of Mudd plays in the background and this blog comes out from conversations last night amongst friends here at college. Let me tell you, I like to stir the pot and get people thinking. So...
Last night I drew myself a Hitler-stash out of boredom and took picures in the dorm out of boredom for the sake of humor and sarcasm...with one naughty Hitler photo. "Would you like to touch mein moustasche, I've been naughty." haha. We got onto the discussion of drawing the mustasche on again on 4/20, which happens to be Hitler's birthday as a joke. I'd go buy a nice clear pipe and walk around with it. Later I went over to another dorm room and was summarily chewed out because of the morally corrupt nature of this.
Look folks, I live in a conservative town in west Texas; I am a conservative anarcho-capitalist and I go to a private school that has affiliations with the Presbetyrian Church. I understand Hitler was the root cause of the murder of millions of Jews hence the nature of this joke. It's not like I'm gonna be parading around campus, goose-stepping(albeit, that'd be funny). I'm just gonna wear a Hitler-mustasche with a clear pot pipe. People, we need to move on. It was extremely terrible what happened but you have to laugh at the man behind it. He was so fucked up. I even wrote a blog on here defending him slightly.
I see the morals that it breaks but I also see it getting people to think and discuss. Sometimes you need a little controversy to get people talking, plus I want to see how far my right to free speech extends on campus. But mostly, I think it's a humerous parody of a man who is humerous in and of himself without the creepy obsession with murdering Jews. Laugh and think people. Hitler is fucking dead. Hell, I'll wear the mustasche on the 30th and put fake blood coming out of my head since it's the day he died. Is that just as offensive? Hell yes it is, but no one will say that because it's a parody of Hitler's death. Everyone loves a dead Hitler, now how about we stop being hypocrites and laugh at Hitler with a pipe on his birthday...which happens to be Weed Day as I affectionately call it. Grow up, move on, think and laugh.
How's this for a not your everyday, run-of-the-mill, Progressive U blog? haha

Hitler was not the only famous person to wear that 'stache, anyway. Charlie Chaplin wore the same one. It was in fashion then. There's nothing immoral about wearing a mustache. People have negative associations with that style of mustache, but that is their issue to work through on their own.
Goosestepping might be taking it a bit far, though. ;)

Lol, well formulated,
Nice post, too…
he is kind of what even a Pakistani child knows and that's half way across the world.

she's a spaceman, no walker, dreamer...maybe
Haha, I brought that up to the girl who thought I was morally wrong but she said it was still wrong. No way in hell am I gonna goose-step across the quad at school, I'd get my ass beat. I'm just wearing the stash on 4/20 as delicious irony. Hitler and pot...lol.
that people hung on certain things and all the hoopla or crazy mad feelings that created
and I know it was for a reason but I can't seem to aptly justify or say what I am trying to say, other than people always have opinions but it doesn't mean that one should stop someone from making a point that they are trying to make, just the intentions have to be in the right place.

The intention is for good clean fun and irony.
