They called themselves Apple for a reason!

Well growing up and going to school in places where Ipods were a precious commodity, and also growing up were Ipods were common. I realized a lot about apple and there miraculous marketing strategy.

First: trademark color

Apple's trademark color is white. imho i think white pops wherever or where ever you see it. and its the opposite of the usual color black we see on electronics. from just the color they catch the eye of future generation. In los angeles I see ipod head phones everywhere ! it's like they've become a fashion statement..Just by seeing a white piece wire across someone shirt I automatically think APPLE. veeerrry smart!

Second: stores in high end places
Fortunately I live in a fairly good area it's not too fancy but not ghetto either. But i make trips to both extremes and never have i ever found an Apple store in like Watts or something
its always those hip places like Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, or the Grove.
So what does that say ? i think having stores in these end places makes people believe that Apple is young cool and hip.

Also what makes it so attractive is that they're design are like no other hardware or software. They're soft ware makes good ol' Windows and interenet explorer look like a dinosaur cave! The software is so clean and entertaining and he graphix are futuristic.

Anyways all I have to say is way to go Apple WAY TO GO !
you've caught the world's attention.

here's A GREAT site called story of stuff.com
it's about how capitalism is destroying us at a surprisingly high rate !

Nice comments on Apple. Interestingly enough I'm commenting to this on an iPod.

But what's with the random website that has nothing to do with your topic?

...was the polar opposite of a blog about what makes Apple 'stuff' so cool.

Plus the site was announced in such a perky way with the exclamation point, like "Yay! Capitalism is destroying the world! Who's up for churros?"

To the author of this blog: These comments said in a way not meant to degrade or disappoint, but to point out how you might improve in the future. You really did have the beginnings of a good blog here. It's a worthwhile topic to touch upon, especially since Apple is becoming so omnipresent today.

the site link was just a good site i found on american consumerism and such. Sorry for incohesiveness though :)
