I am a senior in high school and this semester I am taking a college course at my local junior college. My parents thought it would be a good idea for me to enroll in a business organization and management class in order to keep myself better organized in life. Although I have only just begun the course, I feel like this class will not help me very much with my own organizational skills, I believe it may actually come in handy when dealing with my boss at work.
I work at a grocery store where I have the worst boss I ever thought was possible. My previous boss was uber cool and laidback. He was chill and the employees actually performed for him. My new boss is the complete opposite; he is rude and mean and has power issues. Everyday I walk into work hoping that he has already left for the day, but this is usually not the case.
I actually think this business organization and management class I am taking right now is having a strange effect on me. I am starting to have a little sympathy for the guy because I am learning about all the ins and outs of managing a company. This class may not be teaching me how to stay organized, but it certainly is teaching me how to respect everything my boss does everyday.
Although I certainly still do not like the guy, I definitely have more respect for him than I did before. Thank you business managing class!!!
