You just can't make this stuff up . . . .

An immortal classic . . . . .

Pure, straight, distilled hilarity . . . . .

The long-dead, tragic figure of Gwen Stacy . . . . . . as campus slut??!!

Do these next few really need any explanation?

And last, but not least, my FAVORITE comic boomk, panel of all time!

Okay, so this one might be classified as "intentionally funny," but still . . . . pure HILARITY!
I promise I'll get back to the political stuff in a few. I just HAD to share these . . . that's all. Next blog, I'm going to rant and rave about the state of the state I live in, that being California, and who's responsible, and where it is likely to lead us! I promise! I've just been going through a period where I have been so . . . very . . . tired of the bad news, of the shortsighted and petty politicians who won't work together to save not only my ailing state, but the entire country itself. I feel I am living in quite possibly the twilight of a state inside the twlight of country, a country which is dying not with a bang, but a whimper. I need a respite of laughter and pure, beauteous catharsis before I jump back into the fray.

That's actually kind of disturbing...

Those comic book panels are funny! I can hardly believe they're real.
Maybe comic book writers need classes in ethics and such so they don't accidentally write this weird stuff...

I need some more input from y'all here in this forum topic: A ProgressiveU Radio Show/Podcast
I think this is an idea that can improve the ProgressiveU community.
I wouldn't consider it an ethics thing, though. Besides, society is too politically correct these days. It's nice to be able to poke fun at people's Freudian slips. :D

Many of these writers and artists (not to mention the readers of the comics, then and now) are a bit socially awkward. I doubt they need ethics classes . . . . I like them to be as awkward and neurotic as they are. This is a hallmarck of what comic books are . . . .awkward, nerdy dialogue written by awkward, nerdy men and women, and read by awkward, nerdy people.
Rejoice in your nerdiness!
Yay, nerdiness!
Yeah, you guys are probably right. I'll go with "Freudian slips" if you do.
