During my time spent in the student center at Morgan State University, you run into many things, such as students and faculty. But today, it was something different.
While sitting in the Cyber Cafe, a student doing a documentary. It seemed as if he has to come up with different questions every day to ask people. So the question of the day was, "Due to Chris Brown's actions, does it have an affect on his music and him as a person?" By this question throwing me off guard I just said, "No, the incident does not affect how I look at Chris Brown...he is still a good person...and I love his music."
But now that I sit back and think about the question that was answered i suddenly get a different answer. Yes it was an incident, but no one still knows the story on what happened. How did the whole thing go down. In my opinion I see where they both could be at fault. But the thing is how could we judge right now on if Chris Brown's actions will affect our attitude towards him. Yes, we can still love his music!! But how we feel about him if the actions that are charged against him are true. Will we still think he is still a good person? Yes, Chris Brown is wrong if he actually did put his hands on Rihanna, we all know that. To me some will say I still support Chris no matter if he is wrong or right...if the color is blue or red. Whats your opinions on this issue?!

I'm a fan of both Chris Brown and Rhianna but what it comes down to is that I was disgusted when I heard Chris was arrested and vowed never to listen to his music again. I'll listen to the music. It's good music. I was just so furious and angry. I myself being a victim of domestic violence. Kids look up to him. My kids think he's great. My daughter had posters of him all over her bedroom wall at one time. I'll still listen to his music but he's lost my respect.~angi~
