Do we see couple trouble?! If you haven't heard already Chris Brown is in jail for allegedly abusing Rihanna after leaving a Pre-Grammy party. And the reason why the couple didn't perform last night at the Grammys was because of this incident. Rihanna went to the hospital and Chris Brown turned himself in. But, he is now released with a $50,000 bail. Dang, isn't that a steep bill?! WOW!! Thats 2 years worth of undergraduate school!!! Rihanna has been bruised in her arm and face area. But wait, she didn't wait like Tina Turner did to hit Ike back!! It is said that Chris Brown has minor bruising. The main question is, Chris why would you do something like this? And, how what was the topic of the argument that the couple had outside of the car. OH.EM.GEE. could it be the truth that R&B sensation, Chris Brown is an accomplice to domestic violence and could face some big charges?! From watching one of MTV's famous practical joke television show, Punk'd, we know how crazy or buck Chris Brown can get when he gets angry. Should Chris Brown be freed of charges knowing that there will be two sides of the story? What do you think of this issue?

I'm not into pop culture that much but I am sad to hear this news. Whenever I would tell an older person (older than me) about Chris Brown I would always be sure to mention the fact that he is (or was) well grounded. I know young people sometimes look up to the wrong people so I was happy to be able to say that Chris Brown could serve as a decent role model. I never thought he, or any other celebrity, should be a role model but I know that young people inevitably tend to look up to celebrities. I like Chris Brown's song "With You" and happened to have just bought the song a few hours back on iTunes. But before we draw conclusions we should wait for the facts to emerge and let Chris Brown tell his side of the story. In our country you are assumed innocent until proven otherwise through due process. This was a good post and I wouldn't have even thought to mention the news about Chris brown in this blog. I guess that's why I like ProgressiveU - for the diversity of ides.
