I am a shy and busy person I am trying to pursue my career goals and that means having a decent social/personal life really doesnt exist at lest for me. In addition I am a shy person so even with the little time I have to go and have fun I am to shy to approach the hot guy and talk to him. So what do I do I try online dating. I am online enough with other work I have to do I figure siging up for the intro dating website won't be so bad, but so many of these dating websites are so expensive at least to me to join that its almost not worth it. The decent websites are a monthly charge and the free one well leave much to be desired. I consider myself an apttractive person and feel that I am being clear with what I am about and what I want from a partner but I keep getting resonses from people not somuch of what I am looking for (ie creepy old men) So whats the point of all this rambling isonline love/dating possible ? is so where the heck is it? Feel free to decribe your own horror or love stories online.

Your paragraph about online dating is ....random to say the least. It's not the most detailed blog. Or informative. And there's not much of a personal story. It's more of a random rambling MySpace rant that won't be read by anybody.

You could go old school and just hang out in yahoo and aim chat rooms. I have friends who have done that and had interesting conversations with people. And no, online love is not hopeless, just be careful, follow the rules of the chat room, and leave if anyone starts asking really personal questions or makes you uncomfortable.
