I think welding internships are harder to get then anything else. if you know of any welding internships from u.s. to germany let me know please. i have not found one internship yet. welding is something that i think more people should be getting into because it pays better than a lot of other jobs. if there is any one how can tell me where i can get a welding certifcate thats good in germany? i really think germany is a very great country and so is the Netherlands. I plan to live in one of those countries in the near future that is why i am asking about the international certificates. if you have any information on this it would be very useful. thank you for looking at my blog. im hopeing to get a scholarship in welding, any information will be useful. i also weld. im going to be taking a welding class and a welding joining class and math and german. i need to finish this blog so i can get a scholarship so i can pay for college. Dude, with a blog like that, I doubt you'll get much of a response. For one thing, this shouldn't even be in a blog post. There's nothing "progressive" about it. Why not try a forum post or something? That's probably a better way to get some input from others and not have to worry about the 200 word limit and that it has to be progressive and all that.
If you want an internship in your area, Google "Internships for welding" or something like that.
Better yet, use Goodsearch.com. At least then ProgressiveU could benefit from the search.

I like how uptight the people on this website are...
Try looking for national or local welding associations on the internet. I think one of the main national one's is "American Welding Society." Shoot an email to one of the addresses in their contact section (i.e. "info@aws.org") and ask them for the information you're looking for, tell them your plans, and ask if they have any advice. You could also ask them about local welding society, for instance at the state level (or perhaps even smaller). What you're looking to do is possible, but keep in mind that you're going to need decent ability with the German language- both written and spoken- in order to make the job a reality. I'd imagine that you may have to get certified/ do an apprenticeship in the US before anyone would consider taking you on/ certifying you in Germany.

Uptight is one thing. Pointing out that a blog isn't progressive is another.
But I'll admit, when rereading my comment I saw it looked a bit harsh. I edited it.
I have here a welding foundation and if it can help you, you may try this one.
TEKTONE Global Technologies Foundation Inc. is a technical-vocational institution in Bicol that is the premier training provider of globally-competitive skilled workers in construction, tourism and related sectors. It provides competency-based training for welding and heavy equipment operation.
Thank you and good luck.
