Would You Want to be Buried with Your Pet? Would you want to bury your pet in a pet cemetery? How about the back yard? Is it Ok for the vet to do the cremation? Do you want to view your pets cremation? Or do you want to to just push the cremation button yourself? Remember in all this there is some kind of funeral cost.

If you have a dog, cat, bird or even a snake these are questions you have to face sometime. The fact of the matter is our pets usually grow old and pass on before we do. Bringing up this dead subject may offend some.

In Washington State A bill has been proposed to bury cremated remains of your pet with you.
Here are a couple quotes from an article on the bill proposed by State Senator Jacobsen known for oddball legislation.

"Jacobsen's bill would give cemeteries the option of burying owners with their cremated pets as long as a written request is made. The remains could be buried in a grave plot before, during or after their owner's passing."

"The ultimate insult to a Muslim would be to bury a dog or a cat near or around a burial grounds,"
Would you bury your pet with you even if it offended your Muslim Friends?

The problem here is quite simple. Some folks love pets and would welcome their burial in their own Grave.
Others do not have pets and would be upset if a loved one was buried near a pet cemetery or a dog or a cat.

Some churches have prayer sessions for pets. Why not include them in your family grave plot?
Does anyone know of a book on pet burials?
The pet burial bill is Senate Bill 5063.
